Thank you to everyone who listened to the debut episode of my new podcast, Keeping Pace with Kristen, on SoundCloud! I received great feedback on the episode all around, but I especially appreciate the question posed by Ian H. Solomon, Dean and Professor at University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, on my LinkedIn page.

Episode 2 will feature…Rachel Brown from Over Zero!

I’m excited to chat with Rachel Brown of Over Zero about belonging, which we think about a lot at PACE and believe it is a critical feature in our vision of democracy. Over Zero has a groundbreaking new report out called the Belonging Barometer that seeks to understand the degree to which everyday Americans feel they belong.

Rachel and I will discuss some of the top-line findings from the report, including:

  1. What IS belonging, really, and how do you measure it?
  2. Who feels they belong? Who feels they don’t belong? Who used to feel they belong and doesn’t feel that way any more?

Stay tuned for the episode to be released on Thursday, May 18th!
